Welcome to Welded Forge

Welded Forge was built for the men and women who work with their hands

The people who build the world.

Welders. Mechanics. Linemen. Pipefitters. Fabricators. Construction crews. Tradesmen and tradeswomen who take pride in the work they do.

The trades have always passed knowledge down from one generation to the next. Sometimes it’s learned from a foreman. Sometimes from an experienced hand who has been doing the job for twenty years.

And sometimes it’s learned the hard way.

Welded Forge exists to share those lessons.

The Working Man’s Handbook

One of the main series on this site is The Working Man’s Handbook.

These articles cover practical lessons from the trades:

  • Safety gear that actually matters
  • Tools worth investing in
  • Work habits that build respect
  • Hard-earned knowledge that makes the job easier

If you’re new to the trades, these articles can help you avoid mistakes many of us had to learn through experience.

If you’ve been doing this work for years, you’ll probably recognize a lot of these lessons.

Start here:

• FR Gear Explained
• Boots That Survive the Jobsite
• Tools Worth the Money
• The Code of a True Tradesman

Why This Site Exists

The trades deserve more respect than they often get.

Behind every building, bridge, pipeline, and machine is someone who showed up early, worked hard, and took pride in doing the job right.

This site is a place to recognize that work.

Not just the finished product, but the craft behind it.

The Mission of Welded Forge

To share knowledge from the trades.

To pass down lessons learned through experience.

And to build a place where the working men and women who build the world can find information, encouragement, and respect for the craft.

Stay Sharp

The trades are built on skill, effort, and pride in the work.

And those things never go out of style.
